TOP TEN VISITORS – AUGUST 2010
On August 13th 2010 I added a new widget to this blog. There you can see a lot of flags. And next to the flags you also can see the visitors. I have decided to write each month about the TOP TEN VISITORS. At the end of August I have visitors from already 79 countries.

SPAIN 697. The results from Spain also include my visits and I visit the blog very oft as I look how each post looks once published so there is a bit of cheating in this results. A lot of the results may come from Catalonia but as

I do not have a pro account I cannot know.
USA 301. Some of the visits from the USA I think they are automatic visits related maybe to wordpress or google. Nevertheless, I think that a lot of the visits can be from individuals. The visits also come, of course, from different states. I think that the TEXAS one could be reated to automated visits from wordpress. These is the relation:
CALIFORNIA 66 (more even than all the UK!)

UK 66. I imagine that a lot of visitors come from London. (I miss Old Compton Street) As this blog is also written in British English (or at least that is the one I learnt) is nice to receive visits from the place where English was born.
MEXICO 48. Most of the visits from México come late at night (night in Barcelona, I mean). I still remember a very beautiful Mexican I met some years ago. I am fascinated with some images coming from México.
ARGENTINA 43. If I had to live outside Europe and in a place where Spanish was spoken I may choose Buenos Aires. I think I would feel at home. I have known so many people from Argentina that Buenos Aires seems to me familiar!

BRAZIL 28. I hope to be on vacation one day in Rio de Janeiro. It looks so fascinating. I cannot write Portuguese but I understand quite a lot. Sometimes I think I should begin writing posts in Portuguese. With google translator.
GERMANY 26. When I see that I have visits from Germany I always think: Europe is visiting me! I can understand a bit of German and I know a bit Germany so I feel very happy to receive visits from thses wonderful country. I love Berlin!
FRANCE 26. I think it must be true that France loves so much the French language. I find quite strange that I receive so few visits from a neighbouring country! here in Barcelona, we had Jean Genet and I write a bit about it but with no much luck. I have even tried with some posts in French but to no avail. I feel sad to receive so feu visits from the French. Je le regrette beaucoup!

SLOVENIA 25. Some years after Slovenia became an independent state I already knew about this country. I even was receiving nice postcards from Ljubiana. But that’s another story. I use a lot Zemanta and I think that’s the reason why I receive visits from Slovenia. I think this may change soon.
CANADA 22. There are at leat two reasons why I like Canada. Because some of them speak lovely English and because some of them speak lovely French. From Ontario I have received 9 visits and from Québec just 5.
Well, that’s all! I take into account the countries that visit more this blog in order to write posts.

UNA EVA Y DOS ADANES
Hace unos minutos he estado mirando en universogay.com los top 10 de romances gays de cine. Una de estas películas se llamaba UNA EVA Y DOS ADANES.
Me imagino que hasta aquí habrá unos cuantos visitantes que estarán de acuerdo que esta película esté entre las top 10. Pero habrá visitantes que no tendrán ni idea de que película habló.
He de admitir que yo hasta hace pocos minutos nunca había oido hablar de UNA EVA Y DOS ADANES.
He ido a wikipedia y .. oh sorpresa … resulta que en México y Argentina la película SOME LIKE IT HOT se llamaba UNA EVA Y DOS ADANES. En España se llamó CON FALDAS Y A LO LOCO.
Décadas más tarde todo continua igual … nada ha cambiado … en Ciudad de México y Argentina se ha legalizado el MATRIMONIO GAY mientras que en España se ha legalizado el MATRIMONIO HOMOSEXUAL.
Seguimos, pues , igual que en tiempos de la película. Nobody is Perfect …

VIVAN LOS NOVIOS
La verdad es que dan ganas de llorar. Finalmente Argentina consigue ser el primer pais latinoamericano donde dos gays se han podido casar. No sé si la iglesia argentina también encontrará esta unión aberrante y estúpida al igual que la iglesia mexicana calficó la nueva posibilidad de unión gay en Ciudad de México. Pero por suerte vivimos en un mundo donde los estados representan a sus ciudadanos y la iglesia católica ya no puede imponer su credo a todo un pueblo.
Dos mil años de tinieblas de una religión homófoba que por fin empieza a ser apartada al baúl de los recuerdos cada vez en más lugares a favor simplemente de la libertad de los seres humanos.
Felicidades a Alejandro Freyre i Jose Maria Di Bello. Sabiendo las relaciones históricas entre Argentina e Italia espero que Italia también avance en los derechos de los homosexuales aún teniendo a El Jefe Supremo de esta iglesia retrógada – no todas lo son – en el mismo centro de Roma.
