This was supposed to be a post about the film A SINGLE MAN by TOM FORD. Nevertheless, I just have realised that most of the visits to this post are not related to the film but to Diesel ad with Jon Kortajarena, who also plays in the film.

So I have decided to put at the end the post I had about the film – I have not watched the film yet but I have read the novel and I like it – and put here some photos and information about this basque model who seems to have caught the attention of Madonna in a premiere of the film. At the end of the post you have a video with Jon Kortajarena and also a video of DE CABO A RRAVO. You may wonder which is the relation between JON KORTAJARENA and DE CABO A RRAVO. Well, as far as I know none, except that both come from the basque country and that both the model and the two guys from DE CABO A RRABO look gorgeous. Although I prefer Manapan and Fangorka, of course.

La pel.lícula està basada en el libre A SINGLE MAN de CHRISTOPHER ISHERWOOD. Quina casualitat que tinc aquest llibre. Serà qüestió de tornar-lo a llegir …
La fotografia ha anat a càrrec d’Eduard Grau. Al film surt Jon Kortajarena en un paper molt cridaner. Al principi del post teniu un anunci de DIESEL amb el model basc. Aquesta foto surt quan es fa una recerca a google de JON KORTAJARENA i és per això que aquest post està rebent tantes visites darrerament.

ARCTIC SEA: LATEST NEWS LIVE!
EIGHT THIRTY UT, AUG 15TH 2009 Hello. Today Saturday I will be the whole day spotting news about the wherabouts of the Arctic Sea ship. As you may know it seems that yesterday the ship was seen near CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. I have also read the someone in the Russian Army has not confirmed this. So, today, I imagine we will know something! I imagine they will approach the ship and we will know if the ship is the Arctic Sea or not. And if the ship is indeed the Arctic Sea then I imagine they will contact the ones inside the ship and we will hear something about a ransom maybe. I will be monitoring the news and writing here any news I get. I will be doing this until 15 UT more or less and then again at night so be sure that if something happens you will know it here!
NINE UT The last news: “The Russian embassy in Cape Verde denied rumours that the Arctic Sea, a cargo ship that disappeared off the coast of Sweden at the end of July, had been sighted near the islands off the west coast of Africa.” I wonder what is going on! Maybe the Russian authorities want to say that the spotted ship is not the Arctic Sea in order to follow it secretly? When someone spots a ship how he or she can know which ship is looking at? I do not understand where the difficulty lies! You just make some photos of the Atlantic Ocean with satellites or some hight planes and you count the ships. Then you look through the AIS the ships that send a signal. The one who does not send a signal is the Arctic Sea …
ELEVEN FIFTEEN UT Wow! The AIS radar signal from the ship has reappeared during a brief period of time! This happened at 08:30 GMT this morning near LA ROCHELLE, in the BAY OF BISCAY:
TWELVE FIFTEEN UNIVERSAL TIME More confusion again! First one has to take into account that receiving the Arctic Sea’s Automatic Identification System (AIS) signal does not mean that the signal comes from the ship as the equipment may not be on the ship itself anymore. FURTHERMORE, according to French sources (Captain Jerome Baroe) the signals may have come from Russian warships that were heading from the Mediterranean to the Baltic Sea! So … WHERE IS THE ARCTIC SEA ….?
TWELVE THIRTY UT: BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!: “Sky News Online has learned that the Finnish, Swedish and Maltese authorities are conducting co-ordinated investigations into alleged aggravated extortion and hijacking of a missing cargo ship. The investigation relates to the disappearance of the 321-foot vessel, MV Arctic Sea. The announcement by the Malta Maritime Authority is the first time claims of extortion and hijacking of the ship have been confirmed by officials of the Maltese-flagged ship.” The source is of course SKY.COM.

FOURTEEN HOURS UT Now I read that a ransom has been asked to the owner company of the ship, SOL CHART MANAGEMENT with VIKTOR MATVEIEV as its director. This was said to AFP from Finnish Police. “Detective chief superintendent Jan Nyholm said: “Yes, it is true that there has been a demand for a ransom, which is money.” “The demand has been made to the company which owns the ship, Solchart Management in Finland,” he added.” could be read in http://www.novinite.com/.
FOURTEEN HOURS AND THIRTEEN MINUTES UT I just wanted to say that the ship may soon run short of fuel so I imagine that quite soon we will know something. You can read an update of the situation now at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/ It is funny because now there are websites that are giving no uptodate news and in that way making all this mystery even more chaotic. So, what happened yesterday in Cabo Verde Islands is still news for some websites. I feel that the Arctil Sea vessel hijacking has not only made clear the flaw in European water security but also in the way that the media reports. Now, from home, I can read news from any part around the world but the only thing I almost get is old information about the Arctic Sea whereabouts. Some news deserve a better processing and most websites are in this case out of touch with this fast moving world.

MARICONES by GAY.CAT
Se me acaba de ocurrir un guion para un pelicula titulada MARICONES basada totalmente en la ficcion y sin conexion alguna con ninguna amnesia historica.. Se trataria de las cartas de amor que se empiezan a escribir dos presos presuntamente maricones justamente despues de saber que la democracia que llega a su pais se olvida de indultar a los que son presos por ser presuntamente maricones. Cada preso estaria en una carcel. Una para activos que situaria, por decir un sitio, por ejemplo, en Huelva y otra para para pasivos que situaria, digamos, en, Badajoz.
En la pelicula se vera como los dos presos que habian sido amigos de la infancia han sido encarcelados erroneamente ya que ambos estan locamente enamorados de la hija del que los denuncio. La pelicula acaba cuando ambos son liberados y deciden hacer el amor como canto a la libertad y dejando al publico con la sugerencia de que el amor va mas alla de la posible orientacion sexual de los personajes. Quien los habia denunciado hacia unos años aparece otra vez rodeado de penumbra y diciendo MARICONES les dispara dos tiros y seguidamente se suicida. La pelicula acaba viendose por primera vez el rostro del unico personaje femenino de la pelicula mientras coloca flores a su padre y a sus dos amigos de la infancia. THE END.
